Suprisely I wasn't nervous meeting Darin at all. From listening to Mallory and Andrea talking about him eased my nerves. I met Darin at the Days Into Night autograph session in Greenville, SC-Aug.4, 2007. I introduced myself and he asked my name and how to spell it: Rhonda with an "h" or "no h". He saw the picture that Andrea gave me earlier that day and signed that as well. He showed it to Martha(Belle) who was sitting beside him at the table. I asked him about his first visit to South Carolina and he said he just love the South. I then started talking with him about how I worked a Nascar event last year in Charlotte, NC. I told Darin it was LOUD and all I saw cars going real fast around in a circle.

Funny..As we were talking the person who had my camera took a picture and I was like can we take another picture, "I was talking". The person was kind enough to take another picture(Thank you) and it came out better than the first. Darin was a real cool and down to earth person. I gave him a hug at end of the dance wishing him safe travels and thanking him for coming. Hope to see him next year. He has my vote.
